Students begin the week learning theater basics and by the end of the first day, will have brainstormed and determined their project for the week. Some kids might create short films while some might produce commercials or music videos. The important thing is that the kids provide the idea!
Parents will be invited to an end-of-week showcase/screening.
Instructor Zach Hanner is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill with a BA in Performance Studies. He has worked with young people in theater for the past 16 years and has written, directed and performed in numerous original shows for the stage including “The Mizrabel Kids,” “Alice in Pirateland,” “Fraktured Faery Tales” and the award winning weekly kids show “Super Saturday Fun Time!!!”

Co-create a Magical Play In A Week!
Drawing on the strengths of the performers we will co-create a multi-media show that embraces drama, music, circus skills, and dance to be shared on the final day of the camp. Together we will bring to life a magical world where anything is possible and surprises are abundant! New skills will be explored, and existing ones will be nurtured in this week of ultimate creativity and self-expression. Come and join the fun and get your drama on!
